1. Is there an age limit to join?
- Yes, the ages are from 3-18 or our college open team 17 and older.
2. What do I have to do if I want to compete?
- You are required to attend an evaluation class prior to trying out for a team. A parent/guardian would also need to setup a meeting to discuss the financial commitment, as well as the time commitment required by being on a competitive team. Once you have successfully displayed the required skills, and met all the requirements, you will be placed on one of our teams based on your skill level.
3. When is my monthly due?
- Monthly’s are due on the 1st of the month, with a $15 late fee after the 5th of the month.
4. If I leave CenterStage and come back, do I need to pay the registration fee again?
- If you take time off from cheerleading and inform CenterStage of your decision, then your eligibility is simply put on hold. However, the registration fee "must" be paid annually.
5. Do I need to have experience to join?
- No, you are not required to have experience… don’t worry we will teach you what you need to know in order to compete.
6. If I am on my School or Park-team, can I come to CenterStage to practice or learn a new skill?
- Yes we offer private lessons, Cheer 101 classes, and group classes from beginner to the more experienced athlete. We can help you build the skills you need to be successful in your team.
7. Do you prorate for Cheer 101-classes missed?
-No, if you are absent from a class, that class will roll over to the next time you attend our class. Memberships are not based on a monthly basis, they are based on classes attended.
8. Do you prorate for classes missed due to the gym being closed or for holidays?
- The CenterStage membership is on a monthly basis.
